The Onboarding consultant is responsible for:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Support the sales team with giving demo\u2019s and preparing sales calls<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Getting acquainted with new clients, right after they sign-up, and understanding the customer specific needs in their use of Smartbooks<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Guide clients through the Onboarding steps, this can range from a couple of hours up to a couple of days for a specific client<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Pro-actively propose Best Practices in the client\u2019s financial processes and act as a trusted advisor<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Provide training and explanation during the Onboarding sessions and once the client is up and running during regular use of the application<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Periodically check in with clients about their usage and experiences and explain and promote new functionalities<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Nature of the work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The role is both hands-on and an intellectual challenge because you are working with a software solution that is easy to use but has various functionalities. It is your job to guide the client through onboarding: helping them to make the right choices and assist in configuration, training and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Personal characteristics \/ education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Onboarding consultant has a:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Bachelor level education with a business administration profile and is tech savvy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Proven track record in a consulting role with demonstrable experience in financial processes around reporting, budgeting and planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Analytical skills with an administrative mind set; being able to structure, analyse, interpret and document.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Being able to balance hands-on execution attitude with a consultative attitude;\n
        \n
      • Hands-on is required since in this start-up phase we expect you to be pro-active and flexible<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Consultative means that you will interact with clients from the start of their customer journey and you will need to advise, assist and support them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • As we grow further the role will evolve into 4 focus area\u2019s: Pre-sales, Onboarding consulting, Customer support, Customer Success.
