The Sales manager is responsible for:

  1. Prospecting and cold-calling potential clients, based on resourcing various sources of information to find suitable client profiles
  2. Pick up leads that come in through the website or other channels
  3. Give product demonstrations to potential clients, both in web calls, webinars or on business events
  4. Explaining potential clients our functionality and onboarding process in such a way that they sign-up as a client
  5. Arrange the paperwork and other formalities for new contracts and subscriptions

Nature of the work

The role is new in our start-up company and your experience, personality and drive will shape the role. You have a lot of freedom to make decisions about how you will be most successful in your role. You will be working together with an experienced team of entrepreneurs and business managers that will be able to guide and advice you, but you are the one who will be responsible for commercial success.

Personal characteristics / education

The Sales manager has a:

  1. Positive attitude and is a pleasant person to work with, both for colleagues and (prospective) clients
  2. Bachelor level education with a business administration profile and is tech savvy
  3. Proven track record in a commercial role and a background in cold calling and prospecting based on a sales target
  4. Basic knowledge and understanding of financial processes around reporting, budgeting and planning
  5. Solid adherence to administrative responsibilities for funnel management, updating CRM systems and reporting about every step of the sales process
