The planning of the P&L and Balance Sheet automatically results in a cash flow plan for the coming years. By combining actuals and budget, you also get an automatic year-end forecast.

Once the business model is established in Smartbooks, budgeting in the following years is very easy. Adjust the changed business drivers, such as sales volume and growth percentages, and the new budget is ready. With the possibility to adjust the logic each year if your business changes. You can choose which users can contribute to the drivers of the new budget.
Advanced modules for bottom-up planning
We have several standard planning modules available, for example, for MRR planning for subscription-based businesses or for FTE planning at cohort or individual level. Of course, it is also possible to create a custom planning module. Everything that is possible in Excel is also possible in Smartbooks but much more manageable than in Excel due to the built-in financial intelligence.
